Charity Trials event 18 October 2020

Breakheart Community project in association with Trials motorcycle importer TRS UK {Steve Saunders} held a charity Trials event at the superb Breakheart Quarry venue.

The main focus was to raise funds for a local charity “Heart Heroes” a charity that work with children and their families living with heart conditions. www.heartheroes.co.uk

Heart Heroes attended the event with some of their many helpers and some of the little Heart warriors Naayt 3yrs, Alice 3 yrs, Alice’s sister’s, Chloe 4 yrs, and Lucy 5yrs. You can read Alice’s story on FB, “Three Hearts One Journey” and how the family lives with CHD on a daily basis.

Ray (BCPL) obtained a permit from the AMCA one of the governing bodies of motorcycle sport to run the event under strict covid 19 regulations ensuring that all participants and officials were adhering to the latest covid rules of distancing and the wearing of masks.

Steve (TRS UK) managed to get the TRS British championship and World championship sponsored riders to attend the event to give some amazing demonstrations of bike skills and handling on the vertical faces of the Quarry.

Also in attendance was the Former and current British sidecar champions Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes, Josh and Luke Golding. who after the event showed that whatever a solo could do they could do also but with a chair on the side.

A Great day was had by all and many thanks must go to all the officials and BCPL volunteers, who without them this event would not have happened. All monies raised went to Heart Heroes and Breakheart Community Project.

Food was prepared and served on the BBQ by M+Z farming with all the meat coming from their own farm on the Broadway Farncombe estate.
